What Is Valuation Reports?
A property valuation report is a professional assessment of the market value of immovable property prepared by a certified valuer in accordance with the International Valuation Standards and the guidelines issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Registered Valuers Organisation. These reports are required for multiple purposes including capital gains computation under Section 50C/56(2)(x) of the Income Tax Act, home loan processing by banks, foreign immigration requirements, and compliance under the Companies Act 2013 for asset declarations.
